Mission Statement

Our mission (or the reason we exist in the world) is: “Transforming Godless People to be Godly Leaders for Jesus Christ.” We should cease to exist as a group when we stop doing this Christ-focused mission. Practically speaking, our mission statement means that we should carefully examine the level of spiritual maturity of the individuals in the church. We believe that there are five kinds of individuals in our church: Seekers, Believers, Members, Disciples, and Leaders.

Vision Statement

Our vision (what we aspire to be) is to be a Relational Church where each member relates authentically (not superficially) to God, others, and the world.

Broad-Level Strategies

These authentic relationships mean we need to have 3E Relationship Strategies with God, others, and the world:

  1. Energizing one another to have an authentic relationship with Christ. That is the main thing in life, everything else flows from there.
  2. Empowering one another to interact with people inside and outside the church in such a way that Christ is known and shown.
  3. Equipping one another to engage the world individually and collectively, in big and small ways, through ideal and practical involvements, primarily in their circles of influences (family, church, university, office, society, and/or public arena), each according to their individual calling from God.

Please note the phrase ‘one another’ which is repeated in each strategy above, which means that it is everyone’s role, not just the ministers’ or elders’. The ultimate goal is to create leaders for Jesus Christ.
